YOUR FIRST CHOICE IN SKIN CARE

With more than 14,000,000 people in the United States alone experiencing some degree of rosacea, it is not surprising that many leading skin care lines have recently entered the rosacea market with one or more products. But only Rosacea Care has the world’s largest and most comprehensive rosacea line with dedicated products ranging from cleansers to concealers, all carefully researched and manufactured by three of America’s leading skin care laboratories.

And Rosacea Care has painstakingly searched the world for ingredients that would truly contribute to reducing redness and irritation and improving the facial conditions associated with rosacea. Thus it was that friends of ours pointed us to a small laboratory in Western Australia that was developing the technology that ultimately produced the ZinClear in our Sunscreen “30”. Our associates in Russia reminded us of the traditional healing properties of Sea Buckthorn, which we then incorporated in our new Night Cream. An introduction to Dr. Gary Hahn in San Diego and his research with Strontium led us to the formulas incorporated in our Calming Lotion and Soothing Spray. And in the far reaches of the Yukon and British Columbia we learned about the remarkable Willowherb that is featured in so many of our products.

So Rosacea Care has carefully drawn upon ingredients from all over the world, and as a result, we are proud to have customers from all over the world, now in 52 countries.

MEET PATRICIA

Our stellar distributor for the UK and France is Patricia Brace, who came to us after a long and successful career in the clothing industry as one of England’s leading designers of bridal gowns.

Patricia originally trained in London as a designer pattern cutter, often the springboard to setting up one’s own design business, and in Patricia’s case, recognition came as soon as her first creations became known. Liberty of London began to carry her line, then Harrod’s, then Henri Bendel and Bergdorf Goodman in New York. Ultimately she was responsible for custom designing and manufacturing several thousand wedding dresses and a range of evening wear as well. Just imagine how many times her gorgeous designs rustled to the strains of Mendelssohn and Wagner!

A few years ago, Patricia decided it was time to pursue other of her interests, and she began serious study of 19th century art and design, interior decoration, jewelry, French cookery and English cottage gardening. But ever devoted to matters of beauty and health, after some persuasion she responded affirmatively to an offer from Rosacea Care to supervise and distribute our skin care products in both England and France, where she maintains residences.

Her country home in England is in a little village called Barley, and we in the home office like to say that while Patricia is in Barley, Rosacea Care is in clover, for she is one of our most treasured distributors.

JOY SHALL BE YOURS

Several of our correspondents have asked for more background information about the Christmas Carol, “Joy Shall Be Yours in the Morning” which we traditionally put on our home page every Christmas holiday season. The poem originally appeared in the famous children’s book, “The Wind in The Willows” by Kenneth Grahame and became the First Act finale when the book was turned into a Broadway musical by Jane Iredale, William Perry and Roger McGough in 1986. Jane Iredale, who wrote the script, is the very same Jane Iredale now known throughout the world for her marvelous mineral cosmetics line. William Perry, who wrote the music and co-wrote the lyrics, is the president of Rosacea Care and an active film and classical composer. Roger McGough, co-author of the lyrics, is England’s best-known contemporary poet and has written 39 books and 16 plays. The musical starred the irrepressible Nathan Lane, and all of the writers were nominated for Tony Awards.

So with that bit of theatre lore, we thank you for joining us for our winter newsletter. And we hope that “Joy Shall Be Yours” today and every day throughout the New Year!

Let’s keep in touch!
